Act I, Scene 3

Opéra de Bordeaux

Concept: Our master of ceremonies, Calixte de Nigremont, invited the guests back to the times of Victor Louis, the architect of Bordeaux’s majestic Grand Théâtre. The Arts formed the basis of the theme, incorporating poetry and humour, with surprises and strolling artists punctuating the event. The climax of the evening came with the stage of the opera being transformed into a dance floor.

Context: Following in the footsteps of the Fenice in Venice, the Arpeggio Association, which supports the Bordeaux National Opera, organised its first ever grand ball, complete with costumes.

Creation: Our production for this truly exceptional evening brought together guest artists and all the key teams from the Grand Théâtre, including the orchestra, the choir and the ballet.
